its very easy to say that one must not believe rumours. times arise when the rumours formed seem very convincing, thanks to the events occurring around the time, pointing to the rumour being true... the only way to prevent rumours is by being completely transparent about it
Well, we can never control the behavior of other people. Rumours and criticisms will always be there and to avoid them "You have to do nothing, say nothing and be nothing" :-). And as they say it "Not being talked about is worse than being talked about" ;-)
